The protocols regarding contact tracing, quarantine and isolation periods released on 23 December 2021 have been recalled by the Health Department.
Due to scientific factors including the rate of vaccination doses which provide a level of immunity, low hospitalisation and high recovery rates together with a significant number of asymptomatic cases, which render individuals unable to earn an income and children unable to attend school, the department have placed the revised changes on hold.
An amended circular will be re-issued once all the relevant stakeholders have provided their input.
Beech Veltman will notify you of the revised protocols as soon as they are released.
